SIARDAILY, Sumedang – Terowongan Cisumdawu saat ini dalam kondisi aman beroperasi, sehubungan dengan terjadinya gempa di Kabupaten Sumedang, Provinsi Jawa Barat pada 31 Desember 2023 dan gempa susulan pada 1 Januari 2024,
Hal tersebut, sesuai inpeksi awal yang dilakukan Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) yang menurunkan tim Ditjen Bina Marga bersama Komite Keselamatan Jembatan dan Terowongan Jalan (KKJTJ) untuk melakukan inspeksi kondisi Terowongan Cisumdawu yang berada di ruas tol Cileunyi – Sumedang – Dawuan tersebut.
Terowongan Cisumdawu merupakan bagian dari Jalan Tol Cisumdawu yang memiliki panjang 472 meter. Lokasi Terowongan terletak pada Sta. 12+628 – Sta. 13+100, Desa Pamulihan dan Desa Cigendel, Kecamatan Pamulihan, Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat.

Menurut Dirjen Bina Marga, Hedy Rahadian, untuk mengetahui pengaruh gempa yang terjadi terhadap terowongan Cisumdawu berdasarkan informasi yang beredar luas di sosial media, tim dari Kementerian PUPR melakukan inspeksi.
“Tim terdiri dari Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga dan KKJTJ (Komite Keselamatan Jembatan dan Terowongan Jalan). Salah satu bagian penting yang diperiksa pada terowongan pascagempa adalah bagian portal terowongan yang diduga terdampak beban gempa,” kata Hedy, seperti dalam keteranga resminya, Selasa 2 Januari 2024.
Berdasarkan hasil inspeksi awal, tambah Hendy, tidak ditemukan retakan pada permukaan beton. Sedangkan pola mirip-retakan beton pada terowongan tersebut, merupakan tumpukan debu/kotoran yang menempel pada permukaan beton yang tidak rata, yang terlihat seolah dinding mengalami retak.
“Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui kondisi Terowongan Cisumdawu secara keseluruhan pascagempa, akan dilakukan pemeriksaan detail secara spesifik oleh Tim Ditjen Bina Marga dan KKJTJ untuk meyakinkan bahwa terowongan secara keseluruhan aman beroperasi, termasuk pascagempa susulan,” ujarnya.
Terowongan Cisumdawu termasuk dalam kriteria Terowongan Khusus, sebagaimana diatur dalam Permen PUPR No. 10 tahun 2022. Perencanaan terowongan Cisumdawu telah mendapatkan rekomendasi persetujuan desain untuk pelaksanaan konstruksi dan rekomendasi laik fungsi struktur terowongan dari KKJTJ.
Untuk menjaga kondisi terowongan tetap berfungsi optimal dalam melayani pengguna jalan tol, dilakukan pemeliharaan rutin dan berkala, serta pemantauan tahunan dengan melakukan pemeriksaan secara visual, dan pemeriksaan kondisi geometrik terowongan.
“Kementerian PUPR menghimbau masyarakat untuk senantiasa berhati-hati dalam melintasi Terowongan Cisumdawu dan mematuhi arahan dari pihak Kepolisian,” tegas Hendy. (asp)
