Berpengalaman lebih dari 25 tahun di industri perhotelan internasional, Martin telah menduduki berbagai posisi pimpinan di beberapa hotel bergengsi di dunia, melintasi 4 benua (Amerika Utara, Eropa, Timur Tengah & Asia), mulai dari hotel bisnis hingga resor yang memiliki fasilitas spa, golf dan konferensi.
Martin memulai karirnya di Jakarta, Indonesia di Shangri-La dan mendalami Food & Beverage, penjualan & pemasaran, hingga operasional hotel.Pengalaman profesional yang dimilikinya termasuk sebagai Vice President Operations G Charlton Hotels & Resorts di China, General Manager Naman Retreat Da Nang di Vietnam, dan Imperial Hotel Vung Tau di Vietnam.
