SIARDAILY, Jakarta – Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) membangun rumah susun atau Rusun Lansia di Bone Bolango, Provinsi Gorontalo.
Rusun yang dalam tahap konstruksi ini dibangun sebanyak satu menara (tower) setinggi tiga lantai dengan jumlah hunian 76 unit tipe 24. Adapun anggaran pembangunannya bersumber dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) sebesar Rp21 miliar dengan kontraktor pelaksana PT Anindiyaguna.
Saat ini, progres fisik pekerjaan Rusun Lansia Gorontalo telah mencapai 29,38 persen dengan target selesai 25 Mei 2023. Nantinya, rusun ini akan dilengkapi dengan ketersediaan air bersih, listrik, serta meubelair, seperti tempat tidur, lemari, kursi dan meja sebagai prasarana pendukung.

Seperti dalam ketarangannya, Minggu 5 Maret 2023, Kementerian PUPR terus meningkatkan penyediaan hunian yang layak bagi masyarakat melalui pembangunan rusun.
Pada 2022, Kementerian PUPR melalui Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Perumahan telah menyelesaikan pembangunan 3.998 unit rusun dan dilanjutkan tahun ini (2023) sebanyak 5.379 unit dengan anggaran senilai Rp2.002 triliun.
“Ini merupakan bukti nyata bahwa pemerintah hadir dalam penyediaan hunian yang layak. Kami berharap, dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup para penerima bantuan dengan memiliki rumah yang lebih layak, sehat dan nyaman,” kata Menteri PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljono.
Pembangunan hunian vertikal menjadi solusi atas perkembangan penduduk yang cepat, khususnya di wilayah perkotaan dan ketersediaan lahan untuk perumahan tapak yang semakin terbatas. Rusun dibangun Kementerian PUPR tidak hanya untuk masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah (MBR), tetapi juga mendukung asrama bagi mahasiswa, santri di pondok pesantren, termasuk untuk TNI/Polri dan Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN).
Pembangunan rusun tahun 2023, tersebar di sejumlah wilayah, di antaranya Rusun Yayasan Al Muslim Peusangan (Aceh), Rusun Ponpes Ali Baharudin (Sumut), Rusun RSUD Raden Mattaher (Jambi), Rusun Institut Teknologi Keling Kumang (Kalbar), Rusun Ponpes Kasypul Anwar (Kalsel), Rusun Ponpes Al Anwar Bangkalan (Jatim).
Kemudian, Rusun Institut Teknologi Sumatera (Lampung), Rusun Universitas Islam Ogan Komering Ilir (Sumsel), Rusun RSUD Ir. Soekarno (Babel), Rusun Kementerian Keuangan Jayapura, dan Merauke (Papua), dan Rusun Lansia Gorontalo (Gorontalo).
Selain pembangunan rusun baru, program penyediaan hunian vertikal tahun anggaran 2023, Ditjen Perumahan Kementerian PUPR juga digunakan untuk melanjutkan pembangunan 22 tower hunian pekerja di Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara, serta program Operasi, Pemeliharaan, Optimalisasi dan Rehabilitasi (OPOR) sebanyak 59 tower.
Kegiatan OPOR dilaksanakan untuk melengkapi kebutuhan inventaris, mempertahankan kemanfaatan, mengembalikan fungsi rusun yang terbangun, agar dapat segera terhuni dan diserahterimakan pengelolaannya. (as09)
