SIARDAILY, Tebing Tinggi – Pembangunan Jalan Tol Kuala Tanjung – Tebing Tinggi – Parapat (Kutepat) terus dikebut. Hal tersebut, guna mendukung konektivitas menuju Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas (DPSP) Danau Toba, khususnya wisatawan dari Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara.
Ditargetkan konstruksi jalan tol mulai dari Kuala Tanjung – Tebing Tinggi hingga Gerbang Tol Sinaksak di Kabupaten Simalungun itu selesai 100 persen pada akhir 2023.
Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan, peningkatan aksesibilitas, serta konektivitas jaringan infrastruktur jalan tol untuk memberikan kelancaran, keselamatan, keamanan, juga kenyamanan perjalanan.
“Kehadiran jalan tol yang terhubung dengan kawasan-kawasan produktif seperti kawasan industri, pariwisata, bandara, dan pelabuhan akan dapat mengurangi biaya logistik dan meningkatkan daya saing produk dalam negeri,” kata dia dalam keterangan resminya, Sabtu 7 Oktober 2023.

Tol Kuala Tanjung -Tebing Tinggi – Parapat memiliki total panjang 143,25 kilometer dibangun dengan skema Kerja Sama Pemerintah dengan Badan Usaha (KPBU) oleh Badan Usaha Jalan Tol (BUJT) PT Hutama Marga Waskita.
Pembangunannya sendiri terbagi menjadi enam seksi, yakni Seksi 1 Tebing Tinggi – Indrapura sepanjang 20,4 km saat ini sudah selesai 100 persen, Seksi 2 Indrapura – Kuala Tanjung sepanjang 18,05 km mencapai 95,36 persen, Seksi 3 Tebing Tinggi – Serbelawan sepanjang 30 km sudah 87,6 persen, dan Seksi 4 Serbelawan – Pematang Siantar sepanjang 28 km telah mencapai 68,71 persen.
Sedangkan Seksi 5 Pematang Siantar – Seribudolok dan Seksi 6 Seribudolok – Parapat, diproyeksikan sepanjang 50 km yang merupakan dukungan pemerintah masih dalam tahap finalisasi desain.
“Kami juga menyelesaikan connecting dari Junction Tebing Tinggi yang menghubungkan JMKT (Jalan Tol Medan – Kualanamu – Tebing Tinggi) ditargetkan selesai tahun ini, tinggal perapihan. Jadi, kalau sampai 2023 dari Kuala Tanjung sampai Tebing Tinggi bisa selesai 100 persen konstruksinya dan dari Tebing Tinggi sampai Sinaksak juga bisa selesai konstruksinya,” kata Sekretaris Perusahaan PT Hutama Marga Waskita, Ergy Pramadipta.
Menurut Ergy, Tol Kuala Tanjung -Tebing Tinggi – Parapat Seksi Tebing Tinggi – Indrapura dan sebagian Seksi 2 Indrapura – Kuala Tanjung telah dilakukan Uji Laik Fungsi (ULF). Setelah proses Uji Laik Fungsi Jalan Tol selesai dan dilakukan perbaikan atas hasil pemeriksaan oleh Tim Uji Laik Fungsi, kemudian akan mendapat sertifikat laik fungsi, sehingga apat dioperasikan sesuai masa pengoperasiannya.
“Sebagai dukungan konektivitas menuju pariwisata Danau Toba, kami juga mengenalkan ornamen lokal di setiap pintu tol. Misalnya Gerbang Tol Sinaksak, ornamen Kepala Kerbau sebagai ikon Kabupaten Simalungun. Gerbang Tol Dolok Melawan ornamen Melayu,” kata Ergy.
Jalan Tol Kuala Tanjung – Tebing Tinggi – Parapat merupakan bagian dari Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera yang menghubungkan Tebing Tinggi dengan Pelabuhan Kuala Tanjung, sehingga dapat mendukung pengembangan kawasan industri dan pariwisata Danau Toba untuk ruas Tebing Tinggi – Parapat.
Ergy berharap, konstruksi jalan Tol Kuala Tanjung – Tebing Tinggi – Parapat hingga Gerbang Tol Sinaksak dapat selesai tahun ini dan bisa diusulkan untuk segera diresmikan. (asp)
