SIARDAILY, Brebes – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) meresmikan selesainya penggantian atau duplikasi enam Jembatan Callender Hamilton (CH) yang berada dalam sistem jaringan jalan nasional dan jalur logistik di lintas Utara Provinsi Jawa Tengah.
Sebelumnya, Presiden Jokowi meresmikan tiga jembatan di Lintas Selatan Jawa, sehingga total sembilan jembatan baru sepanjang 860 meter di Jawa Tengah telah diresmikan semua.
Presiden Jokowi mengatakan, alasan penggantian jembatan Callender Hamilton di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, karena rata-rata usia layanannya sudah lebih dari 40 tahun.
“Memang sudah tidak layak dan karena beban berat yang setiap hari melintas jembatan ini perlu pengganti yang baru, sehingga bebannya menjadi lebih baik dan mobilitas orang, mobilitas barang, mobilitas logistik bisa berjalan dengan cepat di atasnya,” kata Presiden Jokowi di Jembatan Pemali Brebes B di Kabupaten Brebes, Rabu 3 Januari 2024.

Keenam jembatan CH yang diresmikan seluruhnya berada di Lintas Utara Jawa Tengah, yakni Jembatan Pemali Brebes B sepanjang 110 meter membentang di ruas Jalan Raya Pantura dan Jembatan Pedes B sepanjang 60 meter di ruas Prupuk-Batas Tegal di Kabupaten Brebes. Kemudian Jembatan Kalibanger A sepanjang 30 meter di Jalan Raden Patah, Kemijen Kota Semarang.
Selanjutnya, Jembatan Wonokerto IIA sepanjang 60 meter di Jalan Pantura Kabupaten Demak, Jembatan Juana IA sepanjang 100 meter berada di jalur Pantura Kabupaten Pati, dan Jembatan Pang I sepanjang 50 meter di Kabupaten Rembang.
Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan, selesainya penggantian/duplikasi Jembatan CH juga dapat meningkatkan layanan transportasi jalan, khususnya dalam mendukung kelancaran dan kenyamanan jalan nasional lintas Jawa Tengah-Jawa Barat.
“Konektivitas antarkawasan perlu terus dijaga, bahkan ditingkatkan. Salah satunya dengan penggantian jembatan yang sudah berumur tua agar aliran barang, jasa, dan manusia bisa lebih lancar dan efisien. Dengan konektivitas yang baik, diharapkan pertumbuhan ekonomi kawasan juga meningkat,” kata dia.
Keenam jembatan CH tersebut, sebelumnya merupakan jembatan rangka baja bertipe CH yang rata-rata dibangun tahun 1970-an atau sudah melewati usia layanan (50 tahun) dan rentan runtuh, karena beban logistik/angkutan berukuran berat. Setelah dilakukan penggantian/duplikasi, keenam jembatan tersebut saat ini bertipe konstruksi Steel Box Girder (SBG)-continuous dan Steel I Girder dengan masa layanan yang lebih kuat dan tahan lama.
Penggantian/duplikasi jembatan CH merupakan salah satu proyek Kerja Sama Pemerintah dengan Badan Usaha (KPBU) antara Kementerian PUPR melalui Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga dengan PT Baja Titian Utama sebagai Badan Usaha Pelaksana dan PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero) sebagai penjamin dengan masa pelaksanaan 2021-2023.
Secara nasional penggantian/duplikasi jembatan CH sebanyak 37 jembatan dengan nilai investasi Rp5,3 triliun. Tiga puluh tujuh jembatan telah selesai seluruhnya, yakni di Provinsi Banten sebanyak tiga jembatan, Jawa Barat sebanyak 16 jembatan, Jawa Tengah sebanyak sembilan jembatan, dan Jawa Timur sembilan jembatan. Untuk sembilan jembatan CH di Provinsi Jawa Tengah telah selesai diganti seluruhnya, dengan nilai konstruksi Rp543,7 miliar dan nilai investasi Rp1,31 triliun. (asp)
