SIARDAILY, Jakarta – Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) terus berupaya melaksanakan pemerataan pembangunan, khususnya terkait infrastruktur perumahan diberbagai wilayah Indonesia, termasuk di Daerah Otonomi Baru (DOB) Papua Barat Daya.
Pada tahun ini, Kementerian PUPR siap membangun rumah susun (Rusun) yang diperuntukkan bagi Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dan TNI.
“Kami dari Direktorat Jenderal Perumahan Kementerian PUPR, siap mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur perumahan untuk wilayah DOB di Papua. Kami ingin program pembangunan bisa dilaksanakan secara merata dan dirasakan oleh masyarakat,” ujar Direktur Jenderal Perumahan Kementerian PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto di Jakarta, Rabu 6 Maret 2024.

Kepala Balai Pelaksana Penyediaan Perumahan (BP2P) Papua II Direktorat Jenderal Perumahan Kementerian PUPR, Ridwan Dibya Sidharta menambahkan, salah satu program pembangunan yang akan dilaksanakan di DOB Papua Barat Daya adalah pembangunan hunian vertikal.
Pembangunan Rusun tersebut, menurut Ridwan, nantinya diharapkan dapat memacu pembangunan, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan menyediakan hunian layak bagi masyarakat.
Berdasarkan data yang ada di Balai P2P Papua II, ada tiga Rusun yang akan dibangun di DOB Papua Barat Daya.
Pertama, adalah Rusun ASN yang akan dibangun setinggi empat lantai. Tipe huniannya adalah tipe 45 sebanyak 36 unit, serta memiliki sejumlah kapasitas 144 orang.
Rusun yang kedua, adalah Rusun ASN Pemerintah Provinsi Papua Barat Daya setinggi empat lantai, dengan jumlah unit hunian sebanyak 60 unit dengan tipe hunian 36. Rusun ini memiliki kapasitas 240 orang.
Sedangkan yang ketiga, adalah Rusun TNI AL setinggi tiga lantai dengan 44 unit hunian tipe tipe 36. Rusun ini juga memiliki kapasitas 176 orang.
“Kami berharap, ke depan Rusun ini bisa dibangun dengan baik di lapangan, serta tetap menjaga kualitas bangunan yang ada. Kami juga berharap, dukungan dari Pemerintah Provinsi Papua Barat Daya dan TNI AL, guna mendukung pembangunan hunian vertikal ini,” tutur Ridwan. (asp)
