SIARDAILY, Jakarta – Pemerintah terus mendorong pembangunan Jalan Pantai Selatan (Pansela) Jawa yang ditargetkan tersambung dari Banten hingga Jawa Timur (Jatim). Jalan Pansela diharapkan dapat meningkatkan layanan transportasi jalan Pulau Jawa bagian selatan, khususnya dalam mendukung kelancaran dan kenyamanan arus lalu lintas pada saat libur Lebaran 2024.
Staf Ahli Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Bidang Teknologi, Industri, dan Lingkungan, Endra S. Atmawidjaja mengatakan, selain untuk mengurangi beban lalu lintas arus mudik/balik Lebaran, Jalan Tol Trans Jawa dan Jalan Pantai Utara (Pantura) Jawa, peningkatan kondisi jalan Pansela juga mendukung potensi pariwisata wilayah pesisir Pantai Selatan guna mendorong perekonomian daerah setempat.
“Kita terus promosikan jalur Pansela Jawa, supaya orang tertarik lewat Selatan. Karena tidak hanya jalannya yang bagus, namun juga memiliki pemandangan yang indah (panoramic road) dan terdapat banyak obyek wisata,” kata Endra yang juga Juru Bicara Kementerian PUPR, dalam keterangan resminya, Sabtu 13 April 2024.

Ruas jalan Pansela terbentang melintasi lima provinsi di Pulau Jawa, yakni Provinsi Banten dengan ruas Simpang Labuhan-Batas Provinsi Jawa Barat sepanjang 170,09 kilometer. Pada TA 2024, Kementerian PUPR mengalokasikan anggaran sebesar Rp45 miliar untuk pekerjaan preservasi jalan dan jembatan jalur Pansela Banten sepanjang 170,13 km, salah satunya Jalan Cilegon-Pasauran-Cibaliung dan Citereup-Tanjung Lesung, termasuk penanganan longsor ruas Bayah-Cibarenok-Batas Provinsi Jabar.
“Pansela Banten menjadi akses menuju tempat-tempat wisata di pesisir pantai Banten dan liburan keluarga, serta KSPN (Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional) Tanjung Lesung,” kata Direktur Pembangunan Jalan Ditjen Bina Marga, Wida Nurfaida.
Ruas Pansela Provinsi Jawa Barat dari Batas Provinsi Banten-Sindang Barang hingga Batas Provinsi Jawa Tengah sepanjang 416 km. Pada TA 2024 dilakukan pekerjaan lanjutan berupa preservasi jalan dan jembatan sepanjang 444,4 km dengan biaya Rp280 miliar, termasuk penggantian Jembatan Cibareno (Cs) dan Cilangla (Cs).
Kemudian, Jalan Lintas Pansela di Provinsi Jawa Tengah dengan ruas mulai Batas Provinsi Jawa Barat-Congot-Duwet hingga Glonggong sepanjang 213,36 km. Pada TA 2024, dikerjakan pembangunan duplikasi Jembatan Tipar sepanjang 120 meter.
Selanjutnya, jalur Pansela Provinsi DI Yogyakarta dengan ruas Congot -Legundi hingga Duwet sepanjang 118,39 km. Pada TA 2024, dilakukan pembangunan Jembatan Pandansimo sepanjang 1,2 km, serta preservasi jalan dan jembatan sepanjang 100 km, salah satunya Jalan Congot-Kretek-Legundi-Duwet.
Terakhir, jalan Pansela Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan ruas Panggul-Sendangbiru–Jarit-Puger hingga Glenmore sepanjang 628,39 km. Pada TA 2024, dialokasikan anggaran sebesar Rp97 miliar untuk pembangunan jalan dan jembatan sepanjang 3,4 km, salah satunya jalan dan jembatan Bululawang-Sidomulyo-Tambakrejo.
Pada tahun ini, Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BBPJN) Jatim – Bali, Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga juga melanjutkan penanganan jalan dan jembatan sepanjang 202 km, di antaranya Jalan Pansela Kabupaten Lumajang, Jember, dan Banyuwangi. (asp)
