SIARDAILY, Milan, 13 Juni 2024 – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Piaggio Group, Michele Colaninno kembali mendapatkan kepercayaan untuk menjabat sebagai Presiden Association des Constructeurs Européens de Motocycles (ACEM).
ACEM sendiri merupakan asosiasi industri sepeda motor Eropa berbasis di Brussel, Belgia, yang menaungi semua grup sepeda motor dan skuter di dunia.
“Pasar dan lingkungan perkotaan berubah dengan cepat, dan mobilitas terus berkembang. Ini merupakan tantangan bagi industri, tetapi juga kesempatan yang tidak boleh dilewatkan: keberlanjutan, konektivitas, keamanan, dan daya saing adalah poin-poin kunci dari agenda kami dan Manifesto ACEM,” kata Colaninno seperti dalam keterangan resminya, Kamis 13 Juni 2024.

“Geopolitik akan menjadikan tahun 2024, sebagai tahun yang krusial untuk stabilitas politik dan komersial: pemilu di Eropa, AS, dan India, akan menentukan arah untuk dekade-dekade mendatang. Dalam skenario ini, transportasi dan mobilitas menjadi faktor penentu untuk perkembangan dan kualitas hidup. Skuter dan sepeda motor menawarkan solusi berbeda untuk kebutuhan baru masyarakat di daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan. Di ACEM, kami akan terus berinteraksi dengan lembaga-lembaga Eropa, nasional, dan lokal demi kepentingan klien dan individu,” tambahnya.
Selain posisinya di Piaggio Group, Michele Colaninno, yang lahir pada tahun 1976, juga menjabat sebagai CEO dan Chief Operating Officer (COO) Immsi Group, sebuah perusahaan induk industri yang aktif di sektor keuangan, real estate, dan industri yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Milan (ISM.MI), dengan pendapatan lebih dari 2 miliar Euro.
Penunjukkan Colaninno sebagai Presiden ACEM, bertepatan dengan restrukturisasi asosiasi, yang juga menunjuk tiga Wakil Presiden: Stefan Pierer (CEO KTM AG), Markus Flasch (CEO BMW Motorrad), dan Vito Cicchetti (Presiden Cabang Honda Motor Europe Ltd.). (asp)
