SIARDAILY, Depok – Presiden Joko Widodo didampingi Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat, Basuki Hadimuljono bersama Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara, Erick Thohir meresmikan rumah susun (Rusun) Samesta Mahata Margonda, Depok. Rusun ini dibangun konsep Transit Oriented Development (TOD), terintegrasi dengan Stasiun Kereta Pondok Cina.
Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir mengungkapkan, hunian milenial serupa telah dibangun di tujuh lokasi, di antaranya Depok, Jakarta, Tangerang, dan Karawang. Tingkat kelakuan unit yang sudah jadi cukup tinggi, yaitu di atas 65 persen.
“Kita sudah selesaikan tujuh lokasi, dengan pendanaan total Rp5 triliun. Alhamdulillah, tingkat penjualannya di atas 65 persen dan 41 persen yang beli adalah milenial,” kata Erick, dalam keterangannya kepada media, Kamis 13 April 2023.

Pemerintah melalui Kementerian PUPR dan Kementerian BUMN, mendorong pembangunan hunian vertikal sebagai bagian dari konsep Transit Oriented Development, yakni kawasan yang terintegrasi dengan simpul transportasi umum. Pembangunan hunian vertikal atau rusun ini dilakukan secara terintegrasi dengan stasiun kereta.
Sementara itu, pembangunan Rumah Susun Samesta Mahata Margonda sebanyak 940 unit ini merupakan sinergi antara Perum Perumnas dan PT KAI. Target pasarnya adalah kalangan milenial perkotaan.
Menteri PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan, dengan memilih tinggal di rusun TOD seperti ini, masyarakat secara tidak langsung bisa menghemat biaya transportasi. Apalagi, ada jaminan jadwal kereta api atau KRL yang lebih pasti dan saat ini pelayanan PT KAI semakin baik kepada masyarakat.
“Salah satu keuntungan tinggal di TOD, masyarakat bisa diantar jemput kereta api. Masyarakat lebih mudah melakukan pergerakan, karena terintegrasinya hunian dengan transportasi massa,” kata Menteri Basuki. (as09)
