SIARDAILY, Pamekasan – Pemerintah melakukan renovasi Pasar Kolpajung di Kabupaten Pamekasan di Provinsi Jawa Timur, agar menjadi pusat perdagangan yang sehat dan nyaman. Hal tersebut, ditempuh sebagai upaya meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pembangunan prasarana dan sarana publik.
Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan, renovasi pasar dilakukan dengan meningkatkan fungsi pasar sebagai sarana perdagangan rakyat, sehingga menjadi bangunan yang aman, nyaman, bersih, tertata, dan lebih estetis (tidak kumuh).
“Diharapkan, infrastruktur pasar yang berkualitas dapat dirasakan langsung manfaatnya, terutama menjamin distribusi bahan pokok dan turut menggerakan sektor riil atau UMKM yang merata hingga pelosok desa di seluruh Indonesia,” kata Basuki, saat meninjau progres pembangunan kembali Pasar Kolpajung di Pamekasan, Jumat lalu, 29 Maret 2024.

Dalam tinjauan tersebut, Basuki juga berpesan kepada kontraktor untuk memperhatikan aspek sirkulasi udara (ventilasi), serta memasang kipas angin untuk menambah kenyamanan para pedagang dan pengunjung. Selain sirkulasi udara dan pencahayaan yang baik, juga perlu diperhatikan penghijauan pada area lansekap sehingga lebih ramah lingkungan.
Pasar Kolpajung mengalami kebakaran pada 2015 silam yang menghanguskan lebih dari 70 persen bangunan pasar. Pedagang kemudian menempati kios-kios semi permanen yang kurang layak.
Selanjutnya, Kementerian PUPR melalui Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah (BPPW) Jawa Timur, Ditjen Cipta Karya mendapat amanah merekonstruksi Pasar Kolpajung pada Mei 2023, dengan biaya APBN senilai Rp81,7 miliar.
Adapun lingkup pekerjaanya meliputi pembangunan struktur, arsitektur, dan MEP (mekanikal elektrikal plumbing) bangun gedung pasar setinggi dua lantai dengan luas bangunan 14.194 meter persegi (m2) di atas lahan seluas 18.530 m2.
Renovasi pasar juga mencakup sarana dan prasarana seperti jembatan penghubung, rumah genset, hidran, power house, gedung serbaguna, pos jaga, musola, dan ATM Center. Selain itu, juga dilengkapi pengolahan limbah B3, papan informasi, pengolahan sampah, drainase, dan lansekap.
Renovasi Pasar Kolpajung dilaksanakan kontraktor PT Adhi Persada Gedung, dengan progres konstruksi per akhir Maret sebesar 61 persen dan ditargetkan tuntas Juni 2024. Bangunan utama Pasar Kolpajung terdiri dari empat zona dengan kapasitas 1.213 pegangan (901 pedagang kering dan 274 pedagang basah).
Pasar Kolpajung berjarak sekitar 60 km dari Bandara Trunojoyo di Sumenep atau dapat ditempuh dengan jalur darat sekitar satu jam. Rekonstruksi Pasar Kolpajung diharapkan dapat mengembalikan daya tarik pasar tradisional.
“Pasar tradisional punya daya tarik tersendiri bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Keluarga saya pun rutin belanja kebutuhan sehari-hari ke Pasar Mayestik atau Pasar Santa di Jakarta,” tutur Basuki (asp)
