SIARDAILY, Jakarta – Asia Disaster Management and Civil Protection Expo & Conference (ADEXCO) kembali hadir di tahun ini, dengan tema Advancing Resilience Sustainability. Hal tersebut, guna mendukung perkembangan dalam industri penanggulangan bencana di Indonesia.
Rangkaian acara pameran dan konferensi ini akan diiadakan di JIExpo Kemayoran pada tanggal 11-14 September 2024. ADEXCO akan menghadirkan solusi, informasi terkini dan teknologi mutakhir dalam penanggulangan bencana.
Peningkatan teknologi dan upaya industrialisasi adalah kunci dalam menanggapi tantangan penanggulangan bencana di Indonesia.

Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, ADEXCO didukung oleh Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) dan Center of Technology and Innovation Studies (CTIS) menyelenggarakan talkshow berjudul “NGOPI BARENG BNPB edisi Maret 2024” pada Kamis 28 Maret 2024.
Tema yang diangkat dalam acara ini adalah “Industri Berbasis Mitigasi Bencana dengan Sentuhan Teknologi dan Inovasi”, dan kedua narasumber yang diundang, Prof. Indroyono Soesilo selaku Dewan Pengawas CTIS dan Sujica W. Lusaka, Head Corporate Fire Operation Management (CFOM) APP-Sinar Mas, di mana mereka merupakan tokoh-tokoh yang mampu mewakili pandangan dari pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam pengembangan inovasi teknologi dan industri.
Sebagai rangkaian acara menuju ADEXCO dan Global Forum for Sustainable Resilience (GFSR) 2024, talkshow ini berfokus pada peran teknologi dan upaya industrialisasi dalam membangun resiliensi berkelanjutan, di mana tema ini melanjutkan tema NGOPI BARENG BNPB Edisi bulan sebelumnya, yaitu “Teknologi dan Inovasi dalam Industrialiasasi Kebencanaan untuk Mewujudkan Resiliensi Berkelanjutan”.
Pada talkshow ini, diharapkan dapat menggali lebih dalam peran teknologi dan inovasi dalam mitigasi bencana, khususnya untuk bencana kebakaran hutan dan lahan yang dilakukan oleh pihak swasta, seperti perusahaan pulp dan kertas APP-Sinar Mas. Indonesia, sebagai laboratorium bencana, tidak hanya menghadirkan dampak negatif, tetapi juga menyediakan sumber daya alam yang melimpah sebagai modal dasar bagi pertumbuhan industri.
Direktur Operational ADEXCO, Andrian Cader mengatakan, keterlibatan lintas sektor dan industri menjadi elemen penting dalam upaya Pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengurangi risiko bencana. Implementasi teknologi dan inovasi oleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam membantu pemerintah dalam memitigasi dan memprediksi bencana yang akan datang.
“Keterlibatan lintas sektor dan industri, menjadi elemen penting dalam upaya Pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengurangi risiko bencana. Implementasi teknologi dan inovasi oleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam membantu pemerintah dalam memitigasi dan memprediksi bencana masa depan,” ujarnya dalam keterangan resminya, Minggu 31 Maret 2024.
Menurutnya, melalui ADEXCO, platform domestik yang menghubungkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan, diharapkan akan terwujud kolaborasi lintas sektor dan industri yang lebih besar, memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian dan industri Indonesia. “Ini sejalan dengan semangat BNPB bahwa penanggulangan bencana adalah tanggung jawab bersama,” ujarnya.
