SIARDAILY, Jakarta – Joko Suranto terpilih sebagai Ketua Umum Dewan Pimpinan Pusat Realestat Indonesia (DPP REI) periode 2023-2027 pada Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) XVII Persatuan Perusahaan Realestat Indonesia (REI) Tahun 2023.
Ketua REI Jawa Barat dan Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Buana Kassiti Group itu didampingi Raymond Ardan Arfandy sebagai Sekretaris Jenderal DPP REI.
Joko menyebutkan, pihaknya secepatnya akan mengumumkan kepengurusan lengkap DPP REI untuk periode empat tahun mendatang. Personal yang akan ditunjuk di dalam kepengurusan tidak hanya layak dari sisi kompetensi dan kredibilitas saja, tetapi juga yang memiliki komitmen kuat untuk bekerja keras membesarkan REI.
“Mereka yang akan masuk kepengurusan adalah figur-figur terbaik REI yang kami percaya memenuhi tiga syarat, yakni kredibilitas, kompetensi, dan abilitas,” ujarnya kepada wartawan usai pemilihan yang berlangsung di Hotel Sheraton Gandaria City, Jakarta, Kamis kemarin, 10 Agustus 2023.
Selain tiga syarat tersebut, kepengurusan DPP REI periode 2023-2027, merupakan perpaduan dari semua kelompok seperti berdasarkan wilayah regional maupun skala usaha, baik pengembang besar, menengah, dan kecil.
Menurut Joko, hal ini dilakukan untuk merangkul dan menjangkau semua kepentingan anggota REI. Tokoh Inspiratif Jawa Tengah bidang Ekonomi dan Bisnis tahun 2022 itu berkomitmen kuat untuk membawa REI solid, guyub, dan berwibawa sehingga dapat tumbuh bersama-sama.
Usai dilantik sebagai nakhoda REI, Joko akan fokus menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan yang masih menghambat industri properti dan menghambat bisnis pengembang anggota REI lewat beberapa program strategis.
Antara lain, dengan membentuk Badan Kajian Strategis (BKS) REI yang nantinya berperan sebagai think tank organisasi dalam meneliti, mengkaji, dan merumuskan berbagai solusi persoalan untuk disampaikan kepada pemerintah dan pemangku kepentingan (stakeholder) terkait.

REI juga akan menginisiasi database properti yang dapat diakses secara digital oleh masyarakat. Database ini penting, karena data akan menjadi tolak ukur dan bahan analisis dalam membahas semua kendala di lapangan.
Biasanya, ungkap Joko, bicara dengan data akan lebih mudah dipahami. Selain itu, REI akan mengupayakan penyusunan undang-undang khusus properti sebagai payung hukum bagi industri properti nasional berkembang lebih cepat di masa mendatang.
Selain itu, Joko berjanji untuk memperjuangkan terbentuknya kembali kementerian khusus bidang perumahan dan pengembangan kawasan perkotaan di Indonesia.
“Yang terpenting lagi, saya akan terus mendorong sinergi dan kebersamaan di REI, termasuk merealisasikan kerja sama antara developer besar nasional dan daerah. Serta, meningkatkan akses anggota REI ke lembaga keuangan dan alternatif pembiayaan, agar tidak tergantung kepada satu lembaga keuangan atau bank saja,” kata peraih penghargaan Mitra Pengembang Bank BTN KCS 2021 dan Top Contributor Mandiri KPR 2022 itu.
Dia mengakui, kesenjangan (backlog) perumahan tetap menjadi perhatian REI yang terus diupayakan untuk bisa ditekan. Menurutnya, untuk menekan backlog, ia mengusulkan pemangkasan regulasi-regulasi yang menghambat.
“Kami juga mendorong agar dilakukan update pendataan terhadap data backlog perumahan saat ini guna mewujudkan harapan Presiden Jokowi agar pengembang membangun sesuai data backlog yang benar dan akurat,” harapnya.
Sekjend REI
Sementara itu, Sekretaris Jenderal DPP (Sekjend) REI periode 2023-2027, Raymond Ardan Arfandy yang merupakan sosok pengusaha properti dan konstruksi asal Sulawesi Selatan, mengaku siap untuk membantu tugas-tugas Ketua Umum REI dalam memajukan dan menggerakkan “mesin” organisasi.
Menurut Direktur PT Shealka Bangun Property, Komisaris PT Nirwana Hotel Jakarta, dan Komisaris Clarion Hotel & Suites Makassar tersebut, Joko Suranto adalah sosok yang visioner dan pengembang sukses yang sudah berhasil membangun jaringan bisnis dari bawah hingga berkembang pesat seperti sekarang ini.
“Yang selama ini sudah bagus dari kepengurusan Pak Totok Lusida (Ketua Umum DPP REI periode 2019-2023) akan kami teruskan, bahkan dibuat semakin baik. Pelayanan kepada anggota, baik itu pengembang besar, menengah, dan developer kecil di daerah juga akan terus ditingkatkan,” tegas pria kelahiran Makassar, 20 November 1970 dan ayah tiga orang anak ini yang menjabat sebagai Wakil Ketua Kamar Dagang Indonesia (Kadin) Sulawesi Selatan.
