SIARDAILY, Kalimantan – Pembangunan tiga jembatan gantung untuk meningkatkan konektivitas antardesa di Kabupaten Sintang, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, telah selesai dikerjakan dan diresmikan penggunaannya.
Ketiga jembatan tersebut, adalah Jembatan Gantung Desa Sebadak di Kecamatan Ketungau Hulu, Jembatan Gantung Desa Sumber Sari di Kecamatan Ketungau Tengah, dan Jembatan Gantung Desa Ratu Damai di Kecamatan Ketungau Hilir.
Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan, pembangunan jembatan gantung sebagai salah satu infrastruktur kerakyatan akan memperlancar mobilitas dan memangkas waktu tempuh antardesa yang sebelumnya harus memutar jauh karena terpisah oleh kondisi geografis, seperti lereng, bukit, jurang, ataupun sungai.
“Hadirnya jembatan gantung akan mempermudah dan memperpendek akses warga masyarakat perdesaan menuju sekolah, pasar, tempat kerja, mengurus administrasi ke kantor kelurahan atau kecamatan dan akses silaturahmi antarwarga,” kata Basuki dalam keterangan resminya, Selasa 10 Oktober 2023.

Peresmian ketiga jembatan ditandai dengan penandatanganan prasasti oleh Ketua Komisi V DPR RI, Lasarus didampingi Direktur Preservasi Jalan dan Jembatan Wilayah 1 Ditjen Bina Marga Kementerian PUPR, Nyoman Suaryana; Kepala Balai Pelaksana Jalan Nasional (BPJN) Kalimantan Barat, Handiyana; dan Wakil Bupati Sintang, Melkianus di Desa Sebadak, Ketungau Hulu, Kabupaten Sintang pada Jumat kemarin (6/10/2023).
Ketua Komisi V DPR RI, Lasarus menyampaikan apresiasi dan ucapan terima kasih kepada Kementerian PUPR yang menjalin kemitraan dengan baik dalam pembangunan infrastruktur di Kalimantan Barat. Diharapkan, kehadiran ketiga jembatan gantung tersebut dapat memperlancar konektivitas antardesa, sehingga mempermudah aktivitas warga untuk meningkatkan produktivitas perekonomian serta anak-anak di Desa Sebadak tidak perlu lagi menggunakan perahu untuk pergi ke sekolah.
“Harapan kami, masyarakat juga membantu merawat jembatan agar konstruksinya bisa berumur panjang,” kata Lasarus.
Kepala Balai Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BPJN) Kalimantan Barat, Handiyana mengatakan, pembangunan Jembatan Gantung Desa Sebadak, Jembatan Gantung Desa Sumber Sari, dan Jembatan Gantung Desa Ratu Damai, merupakan bagian dari bantuan Pemerintah Pusat yang saat ini sudah beroperasi dan dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat.
“Jembatan ini, khusus diperuntukan bagi pejalan kaki dan kendaraan roda dua. Namun, berdasarkan papan petunjuk safety yang dipasang di kedua sisi jembatan, dalam keadaan darurat kendaraan roda empat seperti ambulans bisa melintas,” kata dia.

Jembatan Gantung Desa Sebadak sepanjang 84 meter dikerjakan penyedia jasa PT Puga Mandiri Group, dengan anggaran Rp3,8 miliar melalui APBN TA 2021. Kemudian, Jembatan Gantung Desa Sumber Sari memiliki panjang 120 meter dikerjakan penyedia jada CV Asri Karya, dengan anggaran sebesar Rp8,6 miliar dari APBN TA 2022-2023. Terakhir, Jembatan Gantung Desa Ratu Damai sepanjang 84 meter, dikerjakan penyedia jasa PT Varia Indah Lestari, dengan anggaran senilai Rp2,7 miliar dari APBN TA 2018.
Wakil Bupati Sintang, Melkianus turut menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada Kementerian PUPR dan DPR RI atas kolaborasi dalam pembangunan infrastruktur kerakyatan berupa jembatan gantung di Kabupaten Sintang. (asp)
