SIARDAILY, Penajam Paser Utara – Pemerintah berharap pelaksanaan pekerjaan pembangunan Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA) Sepaku di Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur, selesai dengan kualitas terbaik dan tepat waktu
“Artinya, sudah bisa beroperasi pada Juni 2024,” kata Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, seperti dalam keterangan resminya, Senin 4 Maret 2024.

Menurut Basuki, salah satu kuncinya adalah stasion pompa yang sudah harus terpasang pada Mei 2024, supaya pada Juni 2024, IPA ini bisa mulai beroperasi. “Kualitas pompa harus kualitas terbaik, karena IPA ini akan menjadi sumber air minum utama untuk seluruh kawasan IKN (Ibu Kota Negara),” kata dia.
Pada tahap pertama, sedang dibangun IPA berkapasitas 300 liter/detik, yang diambil dari Intake Sungai Sepaku. IPA dilengkapi dengan unit pengolahan air, seperti sedimentasi, koagulasi-flokulasi, dan filtrasi ozon, serta dua reservoir induk dengan kapasitas masing-masing 6.000 meter kubik (m3).
Menurut Direktur Jenderal Cipta Karya Kementerian PUPR, Diana Kusumastuti, saat ini progres pembangunan IPA Sepaku secara keseluruhan mencapai 44 persen. Jaringan pipa distribusi utama dan pembagi ke KIPP IKN, juga sudah mulai dipasang. “Saat ini, untuk tahap pertama sudah terpasang 56 persen,” ujarnya.
Jaringan distribusi utama (JDU) akan mengalirkan air minum dari reservoir induk ke wilayah pelayanan persil di Sub WP 1A. Jalur distribusi akan terintegrasi dengan Multi Utility Tunnel (MUT), sedangkan jaringan distribusi pembagi (JDP) mendistribusikan air ke zona-zona kawasan bermeter.
Pembangunan IPA Sepaku tahap 1 dilaksanakan oleh PT. Adhi Karya – PT Brantas Abipraya KSO selaku kontraktor pelaksana dan KSO PT Virama Karya -Areng MP-PT Waseco Tirta selaku konsultan MK. Biaya pembangunannya sebesar Rp328,18 miliar.
Tinjau Jaringan
Sementara itu, Menteri Basuki juga meninjau pembangunan Jaringan Perpipaan Transmisi Air Minum SPAM Sepaku di Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur. Ia memberikan apresiasi dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan pemasangan pipa transmisi, beserta jalan inspeksinya yang dinilainya sudah rapi.
“Pekerjaannya pemasangan pipanya sudah bagus dan rapi, bahkan dilengkapi jalan inspeksi, trotoar dan jalur hijau. Saya minta untuk lebih banyak ditanam pohon flamboyan, agar nantinya lebih teduh dan estetik,” kata Basuki.
Selain itu, Basuki minta agar pipa transmisi dapat proteksi yang memadai, terutama pada segmen-segmen yang terekspos, khususnya pada jembatan pipa, sehingga tidak rentan dari aksi vandalisme.
Jaringan Perpipaan Transmisi Air Minum SPAM Sepaku berfungsi mengalirkan air minum dari lokasi IPA menuju reservoir induk kapasitas 2×6.000 m3 dengan menggunakan pipa baja diameter 1.000 mm sepanjang 15,9 km.
Pekerjaan konstruksi dilaksanakan oleh PT Brantas Abipraya- PT. TGP- Supraharmonia KSO selaku kontraktor pelaksana dan KSO PT. Virama – PT. ARENGMP – PT Waseco Tirta.
Pekerjaannya terbagi menjadi 2 paket. Paket 1 sepanjang 5,343 km dengan biaya Rp247,3 miliar, dan paket 2 sepanjang 10,528 km dengan biaya Rp427 miliar.
“Progres pembangunan paket 1 sudah mencapai 71,6 persen, sedangkan paket 2 sudah 83,3 persen,” ujar Direktur Jenderal Cipta Karya, Diana Kusumastuti.
Lingkup pekerjaannya meliputi pembangunan jalan inspeksi, steel pipe cement lining, lampu PJU, shelter, green belt, jembatan jalan inspeksi, dan vegetasi. (asp)
