SIARDAILY, Takalar – Bendungan Pamukkulu yang berada di Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan, ditarget selesai pembangunannya pada akhir Desember 2023. Bendungan bertipe Concrete Face Rockfill Dam (CFRD) ini memiliki daya tampung efektif 77 juta meter kubik dan dengan luas genangan 460 hektare.
Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan, Bendungan Pamukkulu dibangun untuk meningkatkan suplai air bagi lahan pertanian di Provinsi Sulsel, sebagai salah satu lumbung pangan nasional.
“Di Sulsel, masih terdapat hamparan persawahan di atas 3.000 Ha yang sulit ditemui di daerah lain. Produktivitasnya kita tingkatkan dengan ketersediaan air dari bendungan,” kata Basuki dalam kunjungannya di Takalar Sulsel pada Kamis kemarin, 27 Juli 2003.

Kepala Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS) Pompengan Jeneberang, Djaya Sukarno menambahkan, Bendungan Pamukkulu diproyeksikan dapat melayani irigasi seluas 6.188 Ha dan meningkatkan Indeks Pertanian (IP) dari yang semula 183 persen menjadi 250 persen. Kemudian, manfaat air baku dengan kapasitas 160 liter/detik, potensi pembangkit listrik tenaga air 4,3 MW, dan pengendalian banjir di Kabupaten Takalar.
“Saat ini, progresnya mencapai 68 persen. Kontraknya sampai Desember 2024, tetapi kami sedang upayakan percepatan penyelesaian dengan pola kerja tiga shift. Sehingga, harapannya selesai pada Desember 2023,” kata Djaya.
Bendungan Pamukkulu dikerjakan dengan total anggaran senilai Rp1,6 triliun melalui dua paket pekerjaan. Paket 1, pekerjaan berupa sandaran kanan dan kiri, pengeboran angkur plinth, quarry area dilaksanakan oleh PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) – PT Daya Mulia Turangga (KSO) dengan anggaran Rp935,49 miliar.
Sedangkan untuk paket 2, pekerjaan berupa terowongan inlet, outlet, invert terowongan, crown terowongan, spillway, plinth, intake, dan pemasangan SR dilaksanakan PT Nindya Karya, dengan anggaran sebesar Rp891,93 miliar. Untuk konsultan supervisi dilakukan oleh Indra Karya – Virama Karya – Bina Karya.
Setelah melakukan peninjauan pembangunan Bendungan Pamukkulu, Basuki berpesan kepada para pelaksana untuk selalu memperhatikan pelaksanaan pekerjaan dengan teliti dan hati-hati. “Pekerjaannya sudah bagus. Mohon dipertahankan dan selalu diawasi. Kalau ada masalah, langsung laporkan supaya dapat segera ditangani. Desember 2023 harus sudah selesai,” ujarnya. (asp)
