SIARDAILY, Sumut – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional I Sumatera Utara Kembali melayani rombongan Jemaah Haji Kabupaten Labuhanbatu menggunakan Kereta Api Luar Biasa (KLB) dengan relasi Stasiun Rantauprapat – Stasiun Lubukpakam.
“KAI Divre I Sumut kembali dipercaya untuk melayani angkutan rombongan Jemaah Haji Kabupaten Labuhanbatu tahun 2024. Angkutan rombongan haji dengan menggunakan kereta api ini adalah kali kedua dilaksanakan di wilayah Divre I Sumut dan menjadi sejarah di perkeretaapian Indonesia,” kata Manager Humas PT KAI Divre I Sumut, Anwar Solikhin, dikutip dalam keterangan resminya, Senin 27 Mei 2024.

Anwar menambahkan, angkutan rombongan haji Kabupaten Labuhanbatu menggunakan kereta api tahun ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara Pemerintah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu dengan KAI Divre I Sumut melalui mekanisme Perjanjian Kerja Sama (PKS) yang dilakukan sebelumnya pada 19 Mei 2024 lalu oleh Plt. Bupati Labuhanbatu Ellya Rosa Siregar dengan Vice President KAI Divre I Sumut, Mohamad Arie Fathurrochman di atas Kereta Api Inspeksi (KAIS) Wijaya Kusuma dengan relasi perjalanan dari Stasiun Rantauprapat – Stasiun Mambang Muda.
KLB rombongan haji Kabupaten Labuhanbatu tahun 2024, membawa delapan kereta eksekutif dengan total kapasitas 400 seat. Jumlah jemaah haji yang diangkut sebanyak 319 orang yang diberangkatkan dari Stasiun Rantauprapat pada pukul 15.40 WIB dan tiba di Stasiun Lubukpakam pukul 20.00 WIB atau dengan waktu tempuh empat jam 20 menit.
Selama dalam perjalanan di kereta api, rombongan jemaah haji Kabupaten Labuhanbatu mendapat layanan, seperti makanan ringan kue-kue, minuman kopi/teh, makan malam dan souvenir eksklusif berupa payung yang dapat dimanfaatkan para jemaah haji ketika melaksanakan ibadah di Tanah Suci Mekkah.
Setibanya di Stasiun Lubukpakam, rombongan haji Kabupaten Labuhanbatu melanjutkan perjalanannya menggunakan bus menuju Asrama Haji Embarkasi Medan.
“KAI Divre I Sumut mengucapkan terima kasih atas kepercayaan Pemkab Labuhanbatu yang mempercayakan kembali angkutan jemaah haji menuju Embarkasi Medan menggunakan KA. KAI senantiasa berkomitmen memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada masyarakat khususnya rombongan jemaah haji Kabupaten Labuhanbatu dan mendoakan semoga diberikan kelancaran saat ibadah, serta menjadi haji yang mabrur setibanya dari Tanah Suci,” ujar Anwar.
Cara Sewa Kereta Luar Biasa
Sementara itu, Kereta Luar Biasa (KLB) merupakan kereta api yang dapat disewa pelanggan KA atau masyarakat. Penyewa dapat menentukan jenis kereta api, jadwal, serta stasiun keberangkatan dan kedatangan.
PT KAI juga menyatakan bahwa masyarakat yang berminat menggunakan layanan KLB, dapat melakukan pemesanan melalui contact center KAI di nomor telepon 121. (asp)
